Job description:

Job Summary

 

·         To contribute in implementation of the Financial strategy for the organization and administration of the Finance Policies/ Processes, Prepare monthly financial accounting report, Payroll, Collect bank statements and perform bank reconciliations

The Jr Accountant has the following Responsibilities:-

 

·         Prepare monthly financial accounting report

·         Prepare payroll for project staffs and provide relevant data to Finance Manager.

·         Coordinate the processing of financial documentation (vouchers, supporting document .etc

·         Manage bank transfers and prepare cash flow statements

·         Recording and verifying transactions

·         Support moth-end and year-end close process

·         Ensure compliance with IFRS principles

·         Supervising accounting staff

·         Collect bank statements and perform bank reconciliations

·         Knowing basic tax rule and regulation

·         Knowing the accounting software (Peachtree and computer plication)

 

Qualification and Experience

·         BA degree in Accounting and finance with a minimum of two(2) years of experience as an accountant

·         Skills in Microsoft office application/accounting systems are mandatory

·         Experience in FMCG Environment is Advantageous

 

Salary:-  Negotiable

Place of Work: -      Addis Ababa

Duration:-6 Months(Maternity Cover)
